Custom & Specialty Products Policy
At The Cargo Hold Designs, we specialize in premium collectibles, cosplay accessories, display pieces, handcrafted products, and specialty merchandise. Many of our items are manufactured in limited quantities, handcrafted, made-to-order, or sourced specifically for each customer.
Because of the unique nature of these products, we encourage all customers to carefully review product descriptions, dimensions, photographs, specifications, and compatibility information before placing an order.
Product Dimensions & Fit
Many cosplay accessories, helmets, gloves, gauntlets, masks, wearable props, and collectible items are designed for display, costuming, or limited wear and may not fit every individual.
Product dimensions provided on our website represent the physical dimensions of the item itself and should be reviewed carefully before purchase.
If you are uncertain whether a product will fit your needs or intended use, please contact us before placing your order. We are happy to answer questions or provide additional measurements whenever possible.
Specialty Item Sales
Unless otherwise stated on the individual product page, specialty items are considered final sale once production begins or the item has shipped.
Returns are not accepted for:
- Incorrect sizing or fit
- Buyer preference
- Change of mind
- Compatibility issues
- Ordering the wrong item
- Expectations that differ from the published product description
Eligible Returns
Returns or replacements are only authorized when:
- The wrong item was shipped.
- The item arrived damaged during shipping.
- The item has a verified manufacturing defect.
Any approved claim must be reported within 15 days of delivery and include clear photographs documenting the issue.
Custom & Made-to-Order Products
Products that are custom-made, personalized, built to order, specially sourced, or produced specifically for a customer cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged once production has begun unless they arrive damaged, defective, or materially different from the product ordered.
Customer Responsibility
By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the product information, measurements, photographs, shipping estimates, and all applicable store policies.
You also acknowledge that specialty products may vary slightly due to hand-finishing, manufacturing tolerances, lighting conditions, photography, or monitor color calibration.
